For our bed linen we use only carefully selected raw materials. Our yarns and all items such as zips and thread are carefully coordinated with the product and chosen with a view to the product's long life. Regardless of whether you opt for Mako satin made from 100% cotton or for high-quality microfibres. Kleine Wolke's bed linen is distinguished by its fine, dense, active-breathing weave that's gentle on the skin.

Follow the instructions below in order to maintain your high-quality bed linen in tip-top condition.

 

Washing & drying
When washing your bed linen for the first time, keep it separate from any other fabrics and always wash whites and coloured separately afterwards. For coloureds, please use only detergents that do not contain optical brightening agents (mild detergens and detergents developed specifically for coloureds). This will enable you to enjoy the colours in their full luminosity.

Before washing, please turn duvet covers and pillow cases inside out and close all zips as this protects the outer surfaces from abrasion. Do not overfill the washing machine. We recommend that you do not use fabric softener as this reduces the fabric's ability to breathe and absorb moisture.

After washing, do not leave your bed linen to sit around damp for extended periods but either hang it up to dry straight away or tumble-dry at a low temperature. This will preserve the smoothness of the fabric. The bed linen will be easier to iron if you remove it from the tumble drier while still slightly damp rather than allowing it to dry out completely. 

Ironing
Should you wish to iron your bed linen, please note the appropriate temperature on the item's care instructions. Bed linen should always be ironed lengthways (following the direction of the weave). This will help the items to maintain their dimensions and keep their shape.
